WENDY HOFFORD
Transforming Lives, Empowering Leaders
FROM THE FARM TO THE CORPORATE BOARDROOM
Picture this: tears streaming down my cheeks, knee-deep in the dirt on our family farm, feeling utterly stuck. That was me years ago – a stay-at-home mom with a grade 12 education, struggling to pay bills and dealing with marital challenges. It was a turning point. I knew I had to make a change, right there in the dirt. So I picked myself up, dusted off, and embarked on a journey of self-discovery.
My life began to take shape as I pursued my dreams, one step at a time. Through hard work and determination, I transitioned from farm life to the corporate boardroom. Starting from a recruiter, I climbed the ranks to become Director of Human Resources and later Director of Operations for two large organizations.
